Osiris
Multiprotocol IP receiver
Overview
Osiris is a front-end software for receiving IP transmitters. It is compatible with roughly 70 protocol manufacturers and includes a large number of video alarm protocols. New protocols are constantly being added. Osiris provides VOIP communication if necessary. Osiris is compatible with virtualized and redundant local and remote architectures. The PPU commercialization mode allows the center to start connecting a new protocol while drastically reducing its investment.
Flexibility
System administration is controlled in real-time from the LAN with the Osiris Console windows software. script language for transcription and remote controls. Each reception port can be redirected towards two different AMS. Each receiving port can be redirected to two different AMS.
Scalability
Simplified addition of supplementary front-end panels in the center for security or traffic increase purposes
Ease of use
The architecture allows the referencing of a new protocol in a few seconds. The integration of the new client identifier and the query control are automatically activated as soon as the first connection is received from the sender. An API also makes it possible to add information sites from a foreign source.
Key Benefits
Security Performance Scalability Flexibility
How it Works
Security
Multiple architecture for receiving and managing pollings based on a replicated database offers a range of services, including automated hot restart mechanisms in case one of the front-ends goes down. The receivers are installed in a DMZ for a total separation between the LAN monitoring room and the Internet network.
Performance
Additional receivers and IP traffic load balancing makes for easy capacity increases in monitoring rooms. The distributed architecture allows an equilibrated processing of events. Polling faults and restores are sent to an AMS in real-time.
Homogeneity
The complete architecture is viewed from an external point of view as an single entity (AMS, file management, & configuration management).
Interfaces
Compatible with the main AMS present in the market for event management, remote download configuration, and audio management.
